That Zero hesitation blast from Fran had me laughing too, I've read this part in the manga like 15 times, its super good, and that scene was a new addition, I will say overall the anime does a great job.
they dont shy away for the violence either, as we all clearly saw.
I'm looking forward to what else they add to the series.

I was quite surprised cuz this anime has being quite wholesome so far, but they really help put into perspective the reality of that world

I think it's amusing that the guild master could have stopped her murdering the blue cat but just let it go and stopped her from killing the noble. It's like this guy isn't important so it's okay he's killed but this guy is but he'll be punished.

I mean yeh that's true but i doubt anything would've stopped Fran from putting a beatdown on that blue cat at that point in time. So even if he had somehow intervened i don't think he would've been able to talk her out of it.

Cute Fran faces this episode and she has some sick merchant skills, bargaining so much gems.

Amanda's stalking scenes were hilarious, I didn’t expect her to be a little creeper with a fondness for children. Fran ain’t ever gonna call her “mommy". I lost it when Fran destroyed her own bathroom just because Amanda was inside.

What you need to know about Amanda is that she's been portrayed differently depending on what medium you're experiencing the story in. She still loves children, but the manga (and anime) play it up a lot compared to the light novel. The anime seems to mix and match a bit between the two, since she's got the played-up stalker tendencies of the manga, but her reason for joining Fran's quest assignment at the end of this episode is from the LN ("Fran will be the only girl unless I invite myself along" versus "Fran~<3")

Yeah, I admit it's been awhile since I read the manga... and maybe my brain just glossed over some details. But it really feels like the anime is playing up some more uncomfortably salicious types of scenarios than I recall from what I read. Honestly... for an anime focusing on a character that young it's making me feel kinda'... wary... like... even if the stalker/creeper is a woman... her behavior in this episode is still really messed up with regards to consent and unwanted bodily contact. =_=;

Just saying... scenes like this don't feel as "funny" as they do "chilling" when I think back to my own memories from childhood of having my own boundries constantly violated by adults around me. ;-;

All is not as it appears Amanda raised Frans parents and had a bitter sweet memory of them. She had that pause when Fran asked her how she knew her name because she was there before her parents took her with them to adventure. She is not Fran's mother but more like her god-mother.
